Pricing
What a guided run in Seoul costs.
A private guided run in Seoul costs ₩40,000 per person per hour, or roughly US$30. Run & Talk is ₩45,000 per person per hour, and a place on a scheduled small-group morning is ₩20,000 flat for 60 to 90 minutes. Every price includes tax, there is no booking fee, and nothing leaves your account until I confirm the total in writing.
The rates
Three ways to run, three prices.
I guide all three myself. What changes is who else is on the run and how the time is billed.

Something else in mind?
A custom run is quoted by email, from ₩40,000 per person per hour. You tell me the goal, the distance, the pace and where you are staying. I plan the whole thing around you, then run the route the day before so every turn, crossing and water stop is right on the day. Tell me what you have in mind.
Founders rates, held through 2026. The struck-through figure is the list price these runs go to afterwards. Prices are in Korean won and include tax.
The arithmetic
The hourly rate meets your distance and your pace.
There is no minimum booking. You are paying for time on your feet, so a shorter run costs less than a long one. Every row below changes one thing from the row above, so you can see what each part does.
| Route | Distance (km) | Pace (/km) | Time | Runners | The sum | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Namsan MountainPrivate · A short one | 7 | 6:00 | 42m | 1 | 42m x ₩40,000/hr | ₩28,000 |
| Yeouido Goguma LoopPrivate · Further | 8.6 | 6:00 | 52m | 1 | 52m x ₩40,000/hr | ₩34,000 |
| Mangwon · Han RiverPrivate · Further again | 12.1 | 6:00 | 1h 13m | 1 | 1h 13m x ₩40,000/hr | ₩48,000 |
| Mangwon · Han RiverPrivate · Same run, two of you | 12.1 | 6:00 | 1h 13m | 2 | 1h 13m x ₩40,000, 2nd runner 30% off | ₩82,000 |
| Namsan MountainPrivate · Row one, taken gently | 7 | 8:00 | 56m | 1 | 56m x ₩40,000/hr | ₩37,000 |
| Han River, easyRun & Talk · Run & Talk rate | 6 | 7:00 | 42m | 1 | 42m x ₩45,000/hr | ₩31,000 |
You are paying for my time on the road with you, which is why the gently-paced row above costs a little more than the same route taken quickly. That is the trade for a run nobody else is setting. Other guided runs quote one price because they choose the route, the morning, the pace and who else comes. Here you choose all four and I plan around them. Want to work to a number instead? Tell me the budget and I will pick a distance that lands on it. Every figure above comes from the same calculation the booking form uses, so set your own distance, pace and group size there and the estimate moves with them. I confirm the final figure by email before you owe anything.
What you get
What the price covers, and what it does not.
Nobody should find out on the morning that they were meant to bring something, so what is not included is spelled out as carefully as what is.

Paying
Nothing leaves your account until I confirm the run.
You send the booking
Set your distance, pace and group size on the booking form and pick a morning. The estimate updates as you go. No card and no deposit, at this point or any other.
I confirm the total
Same day, by email, usually within a few hours. You get the exact figure in writing before you commit to anything.
You pay
On the day of the run, not when you book. Cash is easiest; a KRW bank transfer works too if you would rather settle in advance. Card checkout is coming.
The full rules live on the cancellation and refund policy page, and the commercial terms are in the terms.
Founders rate
Why the prices are lower than they will be.
Run With Me Seoul is new, and these are introductory rates. The struck-through figures above are the standard price for these runs. The founders rate is what early guests pay while the calendar fills.
It runs to the end of 2026. Book while it is on and the rate is locked to your booking, whatever date the run itself lands on.
Questions
The money questions I get asked about a Seoul run.
Is the price per person or for the whole group?
Per person. On a private or custom run the first runner pays the full hourly rate and every runner after them is 30% off, so a group of two costs less than two singles. Small-group sessions are a flat ₩20,000 each, with no group discount.
Is there a minimum booking length?
No. The hourly rate is worked out from your distance and your pace, so a short easy run costs less than a long one. Most private runs land between one and two hours.
When do I pay?
On the day of the run. There is no deposit and nothing to pay when you book, so a booking costs you nothing until you are standing at the start. Cash is easiest; a KRW bank transfer works too if you would rather settle in advance. Card checkout is coming.
Are taxes included in the price?
Yes. Prices are in Korean won and include any applicable tax. Run With Me Seoul is a registered Korean business, and a receipt is available on request.
How long does the founders rate last?
Through the end of 2026. Book a run at the founders rate and that is the price you pay, even when the run itself falls later.
What happens to the price if it rains?
Light rain, we usually still run. When heavy weather, unsafe heat or bad air makes the run unreasonable, I call it. That decision is mine to make, and you choose a free reschedule or a cancellation. You pay on the day, so a cancelled run costs you nothing, and where you have already paid, a full refund.
