The 2026 Pohang Secondary Battery National Marathon starts 08:00 from the Pohang Canal Hall parking lot, with half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km courses (all chip-timed). Registration opens 2026-06-29 10:00, first-come-first-served; no closing date is published.

The 14th Seoraksan Gongnyongneungseon (Dinosaur Ridge) UTMB Climbathon is an extreme 03:00-start mountain race across Seoraksan's Gongnyongneungseon ridge from the Hangyeryeong Rest Area. 27 km and 22 km courses over the ~15.2 km technical ridge (~1,200 m gain); a traverse / overnight plan is advised. Organized by the Korea Trail Runners Federation.

Major urban ultra across Seoul mountains, river paths, and historical areas, starting and finishing at Gwanghwamun Plaza (Yukjo-madang). Overnight event 2026-09-19 → 09-20: 100K & 50K start 05:00, 20K starts 07:30 (20K is new; the old 10K was dropped). The 18th Cyber Territory Defense Marathon is held at the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul (Line 5 Yeouinaru Station Exit 2, ~800m toward Mapo Bridge). 08:00 start, 07:00 assembly. Half / 10K / 5K courses.

JUST RUN10 Gimhae Daedong - Marathon event in 경남. Date: 2026-09-19, Venue: 김해 대동생태체육공원.

The 4th Mungyeong Omija Run commemorating Mungyeong Youth Day starts from the parking lot behind Mungyeong Hot Spring Complex: 10K departs 17:00, 5K departs 17:05. Hosted by Mungyeong City and the Mungyeong Youth Center. Registration 2026-07-10 → 08-03, ₩40,000 per distance.

Sunset race at Gyeongju Civic Stadium built around a 'Treasure Hunt, Constables and Thieves' pursuit concept, adding a Half (21.0975K) alongside the 10K. Gathering 15:30, start 16:30, with runners randomly assigned to 포졸 or 도적 teams and matching race packs posted in advance. Cutoffs are strict: 2h30 for the Half, 1h30 for the 10K. A performance follows from about 20:00 for roughly 90 minutes. Entry is sold through Coupang Play and opened 2026-07-30 at 21:00, closing 2026-08-09 at 23:59, after a one-hour Sports Pass presale from 19:00. Dong-A-organized fall road race in the old Baekje capital, starting 08:00 (assembly 07:00) at Gongju Citizens' Stadium. Distances Full / 32km / Half / 10km (a 5km has run in prior years; its 2026 fee has not been published). ~12,000-runner field. Registration is first-come-first-served on dongma.club (priority window for Dong-A members, then general from May 21) and is now closed — plan ahead for 2027. Two fee tiers: General (일반) and Mania (매니아, ₩10k cheaper, no shirt). Time limits Full 5h / 32km 4h / Half 2h30m / 10km 1h30m.

19th edition of the Gapyeong Jarasum National Marathon, 2026-09-20 (Sun) 08:30 start at Gapyeong Sports Complex. Distances include half, 10K (with couples division), 5K, and a 4.2K family run. Annual Gapyeong-county race named after the famous Jarasum (자라섬) island on the Bukhangang river.

Gangdong-gu community festival at the Amsa-dong Prehistoric Site, Half / 10km / 5km / 5km-walk, starting 09:00 (assembly 08:00). Registration was first-come by audience segment (Gangdong residents from Jun 8, general citizens from Jun 11) and is now closed. Flat 30,000 KRW for all distances. Mapo-gu mayor's cup community race at Peace Plaza (World Cup Peace Park), 10km and 5km. Registration ran 2026-06-01 to 07-15 and has closed. Fees were 10K 50,000 / 5K 30,000 KRW. Time limit and cap are not published.

The 2026 Handon Run (한돈런) is a pork-industry community run at the Misari Rowing Course in Hanam City, Gyeonggi-do, with 10K and 6K courses.

The 2026 Ansan Marathon is a running festival that families can enjoy together at Daebubada Hyanggi Theme Park. It starts at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, and participants should gather by 8:00 a.m.

The 26th Incheon Songdo International Marathon is a road race held in Songdo, Incheon, with half marathon, 10km, and 5km events.

Busan leg of World Vision's Global 6K for Water charity run at Dadaepo Beach Park, 6km and 10km. Registration ran 2026-04-13 → 04-30 and is now closed.

Runable's 2026 Jamsu Bridge 10K Night Run at Banpo Moonlight Plaza runs October 3 from 18:00 to 21:00. The application/raffle window in Runable's structured event data is July 13 at 12:00 through August 14 at 17:00; each account may apply for at most one entry. Fee, total capacity and finish cutoff are not published in the accessible event data.

UTMB World Series trail festival on Jeju, 2026-10-02 to 10-04. Gwangmyeong's mayoral health run starts at 09:00 on October 4 from Chanbit Plaza beside Anyangcheon. The 700-runner field is split 300 for 5K and 400 for 10K; both distances cost ₩30,000.

New Balance's single-distance Seoul 10K starts at 07:30 on October 4 from Yeouido Park Culture Plaza. Entry to the main RYW package is a DRAW, not first-come: applications ran 2026-07-31 10:00 to 2026-08-02 17:00 KST, and being quick made no difference. Separate shoe packages are sold through selected stores.

Seoul road race based at Gwanghwamun Plaza (start/assembly 07:30), finishing on Mugyo-ro, with 10km and Half categories. Registration ran 2026-04-23 → 05-10 (FCFS) and is now closed. Time limits Half 2h30m / 10km 1h40m from the start.

Gangnam-gu's long-running international peace marathon, hosted with the US Eighth Army, Full / Half / 10km / 5km from in front of the Samseong 1-dong Community Centre on Bongeunsa-ro (Bongeunsa Station exits 4 and 5). Assemble 08:00, start 09:00, on Monday 2026-10-05, a substitute public holiday. Registration is open now and runs first-come-first-served until full, having opened in staggered waves: Gangnam-gu residents (2,000 places) from 08-10 10:00, Full and Half from 08-11 10:00, 10km and 5km from 08-12 10:00, and all courses from 08-13 10:00. Entry is only complete once payment is. Fees are Full 30,000, Half and 10km 20,000, 5km 10,000 KRW, and the organizer donates them in full. Refunds close 2026-08-26 17:00. Entrants get a t-shirt, bib, timing chip, finisher medal and finish snack.

RUN Sense 2026 is a running event held at Peace Plaza in World Cup Park, Sangam-dong, Seoul, and it offers two distances: 10 km and 5 km.

The 3rd Seongdong-gu Federation President's Marathon takes place at Salgoji Grand Stadium (football field) in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

The Gangseo Heojun Run is a running event that opens the Heojun Festival, held to honor the achievements of Uiseong Heojun, a great medical scholar born and laid to rest in Gangseo-gu.

Jeju's windmill run on the island's north-west coast, 10km and 5km from the Hallim Fisheries Cooperative multipurpose support centre at 1377-53 Hallim-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City. Saturday 2026-10-10, with the event running 09:00 to 12:00: the 10km starts 09:00 and the 5km 09:20, and both carry timing chips. Entry is 50,000 KRW for either distance and is open now. There is no announced opening date or hour — it is a straight store-style sale that runs until the cap is reached. The one hard forward date is the refund wall: after 2026-09-04 18:00 there are no cancellations or refunds under any circumstances. Bibs and shirts are posted out in advance and must be worn on the day, no dogs are allowed, and preschool children may accompany free without a goodie bag. Organized by Eodigamsugwang with the Suwon-ri village association.

A KAKAO FRIENDS-branded 10K listed for October 10 in Seoul. Kakao has signalled plans for a "프렌즈 런" event, but no organizer, venue, registration window, fee or capacity has been published, so this is a provisional calendar entry rather than a confirmed race.

Lotte Department Store's running festival, the 8th Style Run, 5km and 10km around Lotte World Tower World Park and Jamsil with the turn at Seokchon Lake and Songpa-daero, on 2026-10-18. The series has drawn more than 30,000 runners since 2017. Entry opens 2026-09-01 and is expected to go fast: the 7th edition opened at 10:00 and sold out quickly at 80,000 KRW. This year's fee and cap have not been published.

Fees are 50,000 KRW for Half and 10K and 45,000 KRW for 5K, with packages including a harness at 85,000 / 85,000 / 80,000. The 5K is not chip-timed. Half is 18+. Online entry only; refunds are handled by form until the first-come close.

Sejong Run '26 starts at 08:00 on October 24 from Sejong Central Park's Urban Festival Lawn. The 5K Connect Course and 10K Boost Course both pass the Geumgang pedestrian bridge. Entry opened July 31 at 14:00 for 4,000 runners, first-come-first-served.

Andong Dam's 50th-anniversary festival combines a Half or 10K K-Star Run with a rail walk and evening SBS K-pop concert. The run gathers at 07:30 and starts 08:30 from Andong Maskdance Park; the concert is later at Andong Civic Stadium.

20th edition. Registration is first-come-first-served and historically sells out within minutes. Brave Cookie RUN, the Cookie Run character race in Seoul (용감한 쿠키 Run in 서울), a single 10km at Seoul Children's Grand Park on 2026-10-25. Entry opens 2026-08-20 14:00 and runs to 09-21 17:00, one ticket per person, 7,000 places at 70,000 KRW, open to anyone 14 or older. Registration is handled through the Runnerble and The Hyundai Hi apps and websites rather than a race site of its own. KB Kookmin Card's marathon-card promotion holds 500 of those places for priority purchase, so the general pool is smaller than 7,000.

K-RUN Challenge is a race where you can enjoy an autumn marathon while running along the Han River. The race starts at 9:00 a.m., and check-in takes place at 8:00 a.m. on the same day.

Major mountain trail event in the Yeongnam Alps, running October 30–November 1. Kakao Bank and UNICEF Korea's low-waste charity race, a single 10km course from the Culture Plaza in Yeouido Park, assembling 07:00 for a 07:30 start on Saturday 2026-11-07. Entry is a random lottery of 7,000 places, applied for 2026-09-01 10:00 → 09-18 17:00; winners are announced 09-30 and pay between 09-30 10:00 and 10-07 17:00. The 50,000 KRW fee is donated in full to UNICEF in the entrant's name, and a receipt can be requested at payment. Peace marathon at Imjingak (임진각) on the Civilian Control Line in Paju, near the DMZ, named for Son Kee Chung, the Korean who won the 1936 Olympic marathon. Sunday 2026-11-15, assemble 09:00 and start 10:00. Distances Full / Half / 10km / a 6km slow run held with the Slow Run Association. Fees Full 70,000 / Half 65,000 / 10km 60,000 / 6km 50,000 KRW, with time limits Full 5h / Half 3h / 10km 1h30 / 6km 1h. Registration opened 2026-08-09 at 09:00 and runs first-come until it fills, with no closing date published. The Full is 18+; the other three are open to anyone in good health. Three things to know before entering: an unpaid entry is deleted 24 hours after it is filed, payment is by credit card or virtual account only, and there is no group form — enter on the website individually or as a group of two or more. Race packages post on 11-09. Athletes registered as elite with the Korea Association of Athletics Federations in 2024, 2025 or 2026 may run but are excluded from awards. The 2nd Sejong Special Self-Governing City National Marathon is a nationwide 5K/10K community race at Sejong Citizens Stadium. First-come field of 4,000, with entry running Jun 20 → Jul 29. No finish cutoff has been published.

New/relaunched major Incheon full marathon, with the full course under review to cross the Cheongna Sky Bridge (청라하늘대교) for a mix of urban and coastal scenery. Full places expanded from about 6,000 to about 8,000, with a total event target near 20,000. Entry is first-come and has not opened yet; the 2025 cycle opened on August 13, so it is close. The inaugural Busan Bridge Marathon (부산브릿지마라톤, brand mark "BUMA"), renamed from the Busan International Marathon (부산국제마라톤) on 2026-07-15. Billed as Korea’s only triple-bridge course, the full crosses Gwangan Bridge, Busan Harbor Bridge and Namhang Bridge, starting and finishing at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1. Full starts 07:30 and 10K starts 08:00. The full has a qualifying standard: entrants must be 18+ and submit an official certificate proving a sub-4:30 finish from another race; the 10K has no qualifying time. Cutoffs are Full 4:30 and 10K 1:30. Domestic first-come entry opened on YES24 at 10:00 KST on 2026-08-24 and has filled its 12,000 places (Full 5,000, 10K 7,000). Registration for overseas runners opens 2026-09-01 at Full USD 150 and 10K USD 100. Race pack includes a commemorative T-shirt, bib, timing chip, finisher medal and record certificate.

The 2026 Support Run for Child Heads of Household is a participatory event where you can enjoy running while also taking part in a donation campaign.

The fifth Gijang County Athletics Federation Marathon is a 10K road race at Daebyeon Port's Anchovy Plaza on December 13. Registration is listed from July 27 through October 31 at ₩20,000; the participant cap and finish cutoff are not published.
